Warehouse Manager:  Responsible for the daily operation of four Warehouses located in Greenfield, Ma.  Maintain OSHA and corporate safety policies.

 

·  Led company continuous improvement team (PPI).  They included:

o  Reduction of packaging materials on hand

·  Leader of the Ballizer Dantotsu team with the goal of reducing machine down time.

·  Leader of the Die Repair improvement team with the goal of reducing overtime and having a better understanding of die life.

·  Member of the team that was involved with setting up a cycle count system to help eliminate the year end shut down inventory.

Callaway Golf Ball Operations

Distribution Supervisor:  Responsible for the daily operation of a Distribution Warehouse attached to a manufacturing facility.  Maintain OSHA and corporate safety policies.  Ensure accuracy and timeliness in filling customer orders.  Worked with the on-site security company to help with loss prevention.  Work with various manufacturing departments to help coordinate product movement in and out of the Warehouse.

 

·  Led the 5S team to clean and organize the Warehouse.

·  Worked with the Continuous Improvement department on a Kaizan event to implement an Employee Idea Program with a goal of 7% participation.

·  Co-wrote the shipping and receiving SOP’s.

·  Received the Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

·  Supervised 15 to 30 union employees.

 

 

Culligan Water Company

South Windsor, CT February 2004 to October 2005

 

Operations Manager:  Was in charge of a running satellite location within the Culligan corporate chain.  Maintained a small fleet of service vans and class 2 DOT vehicles.

 

·  Helped developed a safety program to reduce costly workman compensation claims.

·  Created service territories for better customer service coverage.

·  Consolidated delivery routes to eliminate a driving position and the cost of a leased class 2 vehicle while maintaining proper customer service levels.

 

 

Martin Brower Corp.

Enfield CTMarch 2002 to February 2004

 

Operations Supervisor:  Responsible for the temperature controls in the freezer, refrigeration unit and the proper rotation of perishable food items.  Made sure that product was picked and loaded onto trucks in a manner as to maintain dispatch schedules and driver ease of access when at the customer’s location.

 

·  Supervised a crew of up to 20 non-union employees.

·  Helped implement a program to have all employees cross trained in the different pick areas.

·  Created the daily work schedule for the warehouse employees based on the cases per hour requirement.

·  Helped to implement procedures to handle customer and driver complaints.

·  Coordinated the shipping and receiving of up to 80 trailers per day in 40 doors.
